OPERATING PARTNERS
Take a named role in the studio or in one of its companies, with real authority and real economics. Partners here own what they build. The path is staged and earned, not promised; terms are agreed individually.
AN AI VENTURE STUDIO WITH GOVERNED OPERATIONS · HAUGESUND, NORWAY
Machine speed. Human ownership. Proof built in.
We build and operate companies on governed AI: work at machine speed, decisions that leave proof, AI held within fixed, visible boundaries. Responsibility stays, permanently, with named people.
AI drafts the supplier contract, revision 3. It cannot sign, send or pay.
A named person decides — and their name stays on the record.
The action runs inside a boundary fixed in advance. Anything outside it fails closed.
Draft, decision and result are sealed together. Anyone entitled to ask “how do you know?” gets the answer.
WORKING WITH VIDARION
There are three ways in. All of them start with seeing the system run.
Take a named role in the studio or in one of its companies, with real authority and real economics. Partners here own what they build. The path is staged and earned, not promised; terms are agreed individually.
Bring an idea, a market or an existing business. We assess it together, and if it holds we build and operate it on the same governed system from the first customer, as a company, not a project.
Hand us the office work that eats your evenings: documents, follow-up, reporting, back-office workflows. We run it inside fixed boundaries. You approve what matters, and every important action leaves proof.
THE LADDER
Fixed fee, agreed in advance. We examine one workflow, one offer or one bottleneck and show you, with evidence, where governed AI pays and where it does not.
Fixed fee, agreed in advance, one implementation. We build the workflow behind the gates: boundaries written down, approvals routed to named people, proof captured from the first run.
Monthly, under a separate agreement with agreed service levels. We operate it as a disciplined service: measured, reported, and corrected when it falls short.
Each step is agreed separately. We move up only when the evidence supports it, and only on your decision.
FROM THE FOUNDER'S LETTER
I am building Vidarion because I have watched too many serious ideas die for reasons that had nothing to do with the ideas. Some of them were mine.
A serious idea today meets one of two fates.
Down one road, it moves fast. The founder grabs the new AI tools, wires things together, and for a while it feels like flight. But nothing leaves evidence. Nobody owns the decisions. Nobody can answer the first real customer, auditor or investor who asks the only question that matters: how do you know? And the moment that question lands, the speed turns out to have been borrowed. Trust collapses, and the idea dies in the wreckage of its own shortcuts.
Down the other road, it moves carefully. The idea is taken somewhere big enough to be safe — a corporation, an institution, a committee. It is reviewed, aligned, deferred, resourced next quarter, then the quarter after that. Everyone is protected. Nothing ships. The idea does not crash; it simply ages until the person carrying it stops fighting. The institutions are not the villain here; the best of them know this pattern better than anyone.
Here is what I believe. Before this decade is out, serious companies will not run AI as a side tool, a chatbot, or an experiment that never leaves the lab. They will run on governed AI: work moving at machine speed, decisions leaving evidence, AI held inside firm, visible limits, and accountability staying — permanently — with named human beings. The scarce thing will not be intelligence. Intelligence is becoming cheap. The scarce thing will be intelligence you can put your name on.Bernt KrokedalFounder, Vidarion AI Venture StudioNorway, October 2026Read the full founder’s letter →
HOW WE WORK
Four steps govern every piece of work we do, from the first draft to the sealed record.
01 · PROPOSE
AI carries out approved work inside defined limits at full speed. Named people approve material decisions, external actions and exceptions.
02 · APPROVE
Every material decision has a person's name on it. Responsibility stays with people — permanently.
03 · ACT
AI is held within limits set in advance and visible to everyone who needs to see them. Nothing acts alone in the dark.
04 · AUDIT
Every important action leaves evidence a customer, auditor or investor can inspect. Moving fast never requires pretending risk does not exist.
THE BOUNDARY
Inside the line, AI works at full speed. On the line, a named person decides. Outside it, nothing happens without one — and anything that tries fails closed.
WHERE THIS GOES
Vidarion is being built to be where that standard is set: a portfolio of companies, each running on the same machine, each able to answer how do you know? — from the first customer to the last audit.
PROOF, NOT PROMISES
We do not ask anyone — not customers, not partners, not ourselves — to trust vibes or take our word for it. Five things you can hold us to.
COMMITMENT 01
On real work where mistakes cost money, not in demos.
COMMITMENT 02
If we say it on this site, there is a record behind it.
COMMITMENT 03
Partners here hold real roles with real economics, not titles.
COMMITMENT 04
Even when it pays well.
COMMITMENT 05
And let the system — not headcount — carry the growth.
Ask us to show you the relevant workflow running, and to explain exactly what it covers and what it does not.
AN INVITATION
I wanted the machine built on my own work, at my own risk and with my own money, before asking anyone else to stake a career, a reputation or a krone on it.— from the founder's letter
That phase is ending. If you have ever carried a serious idea into one of those two rooms and felt it dying there, Vidarion is being built for you. We will not ask you to believe a story. We will ask you to come and watch the system run, and then decide for yourself.
